report further stated: 'the Metropolitan Police in London still seek
Alamieyesigha’s return to the UK in due course to stand trial for the charges
put to him by the Metropolitan Police Service. To this end his extradition has
been formally sought from the Nigerian authorities. It is expected the local
proceedings will be concluded before the extradition request is addressed"
