As I start this article, I want to thank Ret LTC Karen Kwiatkowski, now Dr. Karen Kwiatkowski, PhD, (congratulations, Karen) for reminding me of a quote that I read about 30 years ago and had completely forgotten about it. She has an excellent article posted on LewRockwell.com titled "Will the Antiwar Movement Strangle the State?"

There is a quote below that is in her article but it needed to be included in this one, too.

Americans need to read it, think, and come to grips with the gravity of the situation. And after they have done that, they need to get off their asses and do something to stop this madness.

Our Forefathers would declare war on Washington, DC. Of that, I am certain.

They would not tolerate or put up with the self-appointed royalty in Washington, DC and their lunacy and warmongering for even a month, much less the last 8 years of George W Bush/Big Dick Cheney's warmongering insanity, and prior to that the 8 years of pure crap with Clinton and, thank God, just 4 years of that babbling warmongering elitist fool, George H W Bush.

In her article, Karen Kwiatkowski hit the nail square on the head as to what the problem is with our idiot government:

"My point is we must understand that war is the federal government's lifeblood and to end war we really have to starve, disable, restrict, constrain that state. We ask that Washington take the money it is spending on war those trillions of dollars and instead rebuild the country's infrastructure, solve the education, health care, and aging-population crisis. But what do we get? Always, more spending, and always more war. It is easy to understand this country is economically oriented around offensive and security related industry. So when government gets a buck, it is beholden to the security, offensive and war-related lobbyists, industrial and political. It really can't help itself."

Folks, we do not have to put up with this sh*t. These people do not represent the vast majority and vast Will of the People of the United States of America.

They cannot handle Baghdad - much less 300 million Americans who have had their fill of the crap from DC.

All we have to do is say enough is enough. Shut it down.

It does not take the Anti-War Movement to strangle the State. Three hundred million angry Americans can do it much quicker.

Thomas Jefferson said it so well in the Declaration of Independence, the document that led to the birth of our nation and the Revolutionary War in 1776.

Those American Colonists did not have a prayer, but they WON.

They got off their collective butts and did something about it.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

The following quote is the one I want you to read and really think about. This is the one Karen has in her article and it brought back vividly to me exactly what the problem is.

This is Thomas Paine, circa 1777 writing about the British Empire. Read it closely, and realize that you are living in the American Empire and it is going down, too. If you have to, read it twice so that it really sinks in.

"If ever a nation was mad and foolish, blind to its own interest and bent on its own destruction, it is Britain. There are such things as national sins, and though the punishment of individuals may be reserved to another world, national punishment can only be inflicted in this world. Britain, as a nation, is, in my inmost belief, the greatest and most ungrateful offender against God on the face of the whole earth. Blessed with all the commerce she could wish for, and furnished, by a vast extension of dominion, with the means of civilizing both the eastern and western world, she has made no other use of both than proudly to idolize her own "thunder," and rip up the bowels of whole countries for what she could get. Like Alexander, she has made war her sport, and inflicted misery for prodigality's sake. The blood of India is not yet repaid, nor the wretchedness of Africa yet requited. Of late she has enlarged her list of national cruelties by her butcherly destruction of the Caribbs of St. Vincent's, and returning an answer by the sword to the meek prayer for "Peace, liberty and safety." These are serious things, and whatever a foolish tyrant, a debauched court, a trafficking legislature, or a blinded people may think, the national account with heaven must some day or other be settled: all countries have sooner or later been called to their reckoning; the proudest empires have sunk when the balance was struck; and Britain, like an individual penitent, must undergo her day of sorrow, and the sooner it happens to her the better."

Those words were written in the midst of the war with Britain to cast them from our shores. If you mentally inserted the word "America" in that writing where it says Britain, you just read the epitaph of America.

We either stop this insanity or we lose America. It is that serious.

We change course...or America will be gone.

If America were to collapse dead today, there would be a cheer go up around the world. The current criminal US government that pretends to be the Great Defender of Freedom, Liberty and Democracy is the biggest batch of warmongers and biggest threat to world peace on the face of this planet.

It is the system they built and Karen is right. They have made it to where war is actually their lifeblood.

Is that the legacy you want? Is that what it means to be an American to you, that the world will throw a gigantic party to see the end of you?

The destruction of the world, as predicted, will be the destruction of the world that America presides over and which is sustained by its dollar currency. It is the 'New World' that the prophesy speaks about and it is happening today for all eyes to see.
